Story
Sadly last Friday my brother took his own life, he had been poorly for some time and after 2 years of suffering horrendous pain from an infection that resulted in 7lbs of his stomach and bowel being removed he tragically decided to end his pain and suffering.
He had gone from being a hard working proud and strong man in a Senior Management role to being virtually house bound and unable to work.
I cannot begin to imagine how he must of been feeling and how he decided to carry out the event that ended his life so suddenly but it has left a huge hole in our hearts and lives.
We only found out afterwards that his house was being repossessed that morning, not even his closest friends knew of his predicament and the spiralling debts mounting around him.
It was actually the bailiffs who found him after gaining entry to his home and they alerted the emergency services, sadly it was too late.
With this page we are trying to raise awareness of mental health problems in todays busy and stressful world.
I will donate all proceeds to one or maybe more mental health charities in order to assist them in the fantastic work they do in helping people, normal every day people like you and I who one day might find themselves in a position similar to my brother and with help may prevent a tragedy happening again..
Thank you for reading this and if you feel you can help I thank you from the bottom of my heart..

Tragic news, I first met Steve when I was site manager for Standen Construction, he worked for me on a project at Derby Girls High School, he was a great joiner and a nice guy, we got on very well.

I worked with Steve at Metropolitan. A really chirpy, kind and upbeat bloke. Such a tragic loss. God bless you and your family at this time.
