I've raised £2000 to assist with the overall running costs for Croxfest 2018 to ensure the continued success of this free to attend community music festival.

Croxfest began back in 2011 so this will now be our 8th year of putting on this much loved family community music festival in Croxley Green ,Hertfordshire.
Croxfest is extremely popular and has been attended on average by some 8,000 people over the entire day. As organisers we are passionate about putting on this event.
The festival provides a platform for local bands to perform and showcase their talent on a professional stage to a wider audience. All of the bands, like all the volunteers, give their time for free.
This years festival takes place on Saturday 8th September 2018 with music from 10 live acts plus a wide range of art and craft stalls, catering stalls and activities for children from 12 noon until 8pm.
Every year, we have to raise funding in the region of £17,000 to be able to put on this event. So how do we raise this money? Well we gratefully receive a subscription from the Parish Council, but as a committee we have to raise the rest from sponsorships, advertising, stalls and donations to cover the costs of putting on the event.
So what do we have to pay for? Staging sound and lighting are the obvious costs. Then there are all the toilets and the crowd barriers and First Aid Provision. Then we have insurance costs, music licensing costs and the cost of hiring the land to host the festival.
So, this is where you come in. Any donation you can make will go a long way to contributing to another fantastic community event. All the funds raised will go towards putting on this wonderful local festival so it remains a free event.
