We aim as a foundation to fund and provide education, training and development opportunities for engineers and scientists in the area of environmental and medical disciplines.

The Earth Science & Technology Association (ESTA) will be a collaborative, a network of individuals and organisations concerned with our planet, its environment and the health of its inhabitants. As like-minded, kindred spirits we are dedicated to preserving Earth and life by the implementation of scientific and technological solutions.

Members of ESTA range from university professors, engineers and technicians, members of NASA, the NHS and professional institutes such as Institution of Engineering and Technology but membership is open to all, all who are concerned and all who care, all are equally important, quite simply we are all in this together.

We aim to inform, educate, work and act together to provide meaningful change in areas which represent the most poignant and significant challenges to mankind, climate change, global warming, collapse of ecosystems through pollution, health and wellbeing.

Globally, air pollution is the biggest environmental threat, in the UK around 36,000 deaths/year are attributed to long-term exposure. There is strong evidence that air pollution causes the development of coronary heart disease, stroke, respiratory disease and lung cancer, and exacerbates asthma. The exhaust from Marine Diesel Engines alone is responsible for around 80,0000 deaths per year. Worldwide, the health of millions of people is effected by poor air quality.

We also have seen the cumulative and devastating effect of climate change, the damage to our planet and the threat this poses to mankind must be addressed urgently.

As a Medical Engineer and Climate Change professional I am confident that with your help and support, together we can face this challenge, inform and influence, change direction and implement proven technology and science to quickly and positively impact climate change.

With UK and European Biomedical Engineering colleagues we are developing essential medical equipment, technology, treatments and therapies, we are determined to raise funds to purchase and donate much needed equipment for patient use whilst in hospital or in a home setting. We are passionate regarding the funding of research and development and aim to produce new and innovative medical devices to benefit patients.

Like other fund raising activities this crucial work will be undertaken on our own time but we are ideally placed with input our clinical colleagues to identify priority equipment needs presently and areas where research and development should be prioritised.

We are asking you to give, to donate and understand that many of you may have reservations, On average, the most well-known and largest charities in the UK will spend between 26% to 87% of their annual income on charitable activities – i.e. fulfilling the charitable services the charity exists to provide. The remaining donation is usually divided across administrative and operational costs,

We guarantee that 100% of the funds raised from this platform will be used in the fulfilment of our aims.

Blood cancer, bacteria and virus treatment device.- A completely new approach with multiple clinical applications utilising a number of proven scientific phenomena.

We have developed an innovative Medical Device Consumable capable of treating cancer (leukaemia) and blood borne bacteria and viruses such as Ebola, HIV and Covid 19 in an minimally invasive manner.

Treatment is undertaken outside of the body which has many benefits and avoids potential side effects, blood is taken out of the body, treated as it passes through the device and returned to the body free of abnormal cells and microorganisms, viable cells remain unharmed, the treatment parameters can be adjusted to achieve specific selectivity.

Treatment using this type of technology will present in many cases an effective, low cost and safer alternative to surgical, chemo & radio therapy options, Its potential as a complimentary treatment has been recognised. Its low cost advantageously presents take up in developing and less wealthy regions.

Colorectal tumours are the second highest cause of neoplastic mortality in males after lung cancer, ranking the same in females after breast cancer.

Among screening procedures conventional colonoscopy is considered the best available method. Current screening colonoscopy is limited due to a variety of factors including invasiveness, patient pain, discomfort and fear and the need for sedation; these factors consistently limit the pervasiveness of mass screening campaigns.

The Endopede design has been developed to incorporate an integrated robotic platform for the navigation of a soft body probe capable of performing painless diagnosis and treatment. Built around novel robotic colonoscopy architecture, the Endopede© has the potential to introduce into clinical practice a disruptive device for painless colonoscopy.

Using IA and Machine Learning, this endoscope platform possesses the ability to diagnose conditions within 3 seconds with an accuracy of 98%. We call this RAPID© (Rapid Accurate Predictive Imaging Diagnosis) using our AIM© (Artificial Intelligence in Medicine) platform
