My friend Gerry Streloff that sadly passed away on Friday the 21st April 2017. Gerry was born in Vancouver Canada and was well traveled through out his early life, but it would appear that England was where he would settle, London was his first residence where he spent some time but would eventually make Yorkshire his final place. Gerry worked in sales most of his life and new many people so if you are reading this then you will know him as you last remember him and I am sure they will bring a smile upon your face 😁 Gerry had a bit of an hard time in having operations on his leg as his knee joints had gone after13 operations in all to fix his knee the 13 operation resulted in him losing his right leg just below his thigh, he took the amputation really well and truly believed that he would walk again with the use of a fitted leg. But their was a problem with his left foot which he had surgery on before with pins in his ankle was not good and his foot was at ten to two so this ment more surgery. When he had the surgery he had to go into a nursing home for some rest and recuperation due to the fact that he could not put any weight on his foot the operation was a success and he was due to have the pot cast of on the 27/04/17. However he was having trouble breathing and was taken to the hospital where he was diagnosed as having pneumonia. This would be his final place. Gerry had 3 children and they would like to take their dads ashes back to his hometown where he was born all funds raised will help to fulfill a great send of to a very lovable character who was always the life and soul of the party as we celebrated with him in life, let's help to celebrate him in death lets help to send his children to go and take his ashes back home thank you all for your support time and place of funeral will be posted on Facebook for people who knew him and would like to attend R.I.P Gerry Streloff 1949 - 2017
