Story
I'm an ex Seaman and for the past fifteen year I have been a Standard Bearer for various associations. I have bad circulation problems yet I'm arranging a sponsored walk of just under 20 miles from Ashford to Folkestone.
I am raising funds for a veterans lunch on Remembrance Sunday for over 88 young cadets and veterans. As this is the 100th anniversary of the ending of the First World War we would also like to renew the tired looking benches with new poppy benches in the Garden of Remembrance in Folkestone Kent. Please help me to continue to connect the generations and to pass on their experiences and stories.
