hello world. I tried making a video for this but I'm no Speilberg and they turned out rather rubbish. so I thought that I would just type out my message for you all to read..

we are all aware about the devastation that hurricane Irma has caused throughout the Caribbean and that so many people have lost everything. I have been lucky enough to have lived in the Caribbean as a child in Freeport Grand Bahama. and while we lived there we were hit by hurricane David. it was a cat 4 hurricane and it too caused massive damage to many of the islands.

so on my way home from work the other day I commented to my mate Stichy if he would have gone out to help as a volunteer if he didn't have family commitments here at home and he said absolutely. it got me thinking and by the time I arrived home I had made up my mind that is what I would do. go out and help rebuild homes and lives for the islanders..

I have made enquiries with the red cross and have been talking to a few people who said that they would love to join me out there. I have been intouch with Itv about the cause and they have invited me down to the studios in Cardiff today and have an interview for the 6pm news.

I am hoping to put together a team of 5 to go out and rebuild homes and lives for free for one year. I have Mathew Newbury, a roofer from Barry and Aiden Dance from barry who are !00% along for the ride.

unfortunately we cant support ourselves over there for a year as we wont be getting paid so I'm asking the good people of this country and world if they would like to sponsor the team for our basic living costs and obligations in this country. I'm hoping that when I share this page it will be seen around the world rather quickly.. so if once you have read this and think its a worthwhile cause would you like to make a donation of £1, $1 or whatever your countries currency is to enable us to go and help.

we are also looking for help with flights to and from the Caribbean. any help will be very much appreciated.

a bank account is being opened with 2 trustees named to help pay bills back here and to send money on a weekly basis over to us for our living needs. myself and the team will not have access to the funds directly. and the trustees will only be able to send monies direct to the teams bank so there bills can be paid. so know that your sponsor will only be used for the teams welfare.
