I've raised £750 to help the Helen Keller Institute continue improving lives of the Deaf & Deafblind in India

The Helen Keller Institute for Deaf & Deafblind (HKIDB) is a premier institute for the education, training and rehabilitation of the Deaf and those who have Multiple Disabilities with Vision Impairment (MDVI), including Deafblindness in India.
Even though we started out in a small room with only 2 children and 3 teachers in 1977, we were the pioneers for the education and development of Deafblind children in India and South East Asia. It is through the dedication of our teachers that we have now grown to about 200 happy & smiling students.
The institution is recognized by the State and Central government and many international organizations as a premier institute for the all-encompassing development of Deafblind persons. The institute’s focus stems from the strong belief to “give every person every right that you claim for yourself”.
