Story
We want to establish a fitness trail for adults in the woodland setting of our beautiful Gardens. This will be free of charge.
When it comes to exercise, there is nothing better than taking it outside. It feels entirely different and complements exercise indoors on a stationary bike or treadmill, because you get to enjoy nature while getting your workout.
Easily accessible exercise equipment is also an ideal way of encouraging those who have never worked out before to give it a go.
You can take a walk in your lunch hour or after work and use the trail, which is a series of simple timber exercise stations to help you get more of out of your local open space and improve your health, whilst getting into contact with nature.
A thoughtful selection of units will cater to all, providing a challenging workout to every fitness level and aim to improve flexibility, boost balance and increase cardiovascular health.
Many communities have discovered the benefits of outdoor trails, which bring fitness into community spaces and give friends and family members, regardless of ability, the opportunity to exercise together.
To see these facilities in the Gardens please donate today.
