We lost our best friend, Steph, who took her own life on 2nd July 2016 due to a suffering of depression, and would love to raise donations so that we can get her a bench and plaque in her memory. We are aiming to raise enough funds for her to have her own personal bench in Rowntree Gardens - a place where we can visit and remember Steph for who she was.

We initially thought about raising money for a depression charity to make more people aware about the effects of depression as we as her close friends did not realise the extent of this suffering that she was going through and ideally would like more people to gain understanding of this terrible, yet often invisible, illness. However, we don't believe that Steph's funeral was the last goodbye, so instead we have decided that raising donations to provide her own physical place where all her friends can go visit and share memories and have a chat would be more beneficial to let Steph's memory live on forever, and always have this place we can go to for Steph.
