I've raised £1000 to fund Bexhill Lions Club support local charities, community groups and individuals in need. Every penny raised goes to good causes.

I am going to cycle 130 miles from Brighton to Paris over 2 days on the 22nd and 23rd June with 3 friends from my work.
Who are Bexhill Lions and what do they do ?
Since 1971 Bexhill Lions Club has been supporting local charities, good causes, community groups and individuals in need. The volunteer Members raise funds to support the ever growing number of requests for support.
They have provided defibrillators, special equipment for those with disabilities and funding for sports and youth groups. They offer youth development competitions/initiatives and provide support for the “Safety in Action” Education programme for Primary Schools.
Their community work includes; an annual “special knockout games” for those with disabilities, traffic marshals for the annual Remembrance Day parade, health awareness events and a Santa Dash.
They provide the potential life-saving “Message in a Bottle”, collect unwanted spectacles for re-cycling and raise funds for the Air Ambulance Service and the Milk Bike service. Through the Lions Club International Foundation they support major programmes such as; humanitarian aid, disaster relief, sight saving and health projects. Every penny raised or donated goes to good causes.
