With the Hollis Recreation Ground clubhouse bar being improved and other improvements in the pipeline, i thought it would be great to have a Cinema Projector and large screen to watch sporting events in style in the clubhouse to rival pubs, bars and other sports complexes.

The cost of the equipment and installation is going to be around £1500, but once monies raised, equipment purchased and installed we will be the envy of many other sports clubs and have a fantastic sports viewing facility in the home of sport in Hornsea, The Hollis Recreation Ground.

I’m competing in an Ultra Marathon on September 15th, The Hardmoors 60, which is a 62 mile run following the Cleveland Way from Guisborough to Filey. Hopefully thinking of me suffering for a fair few hours, and thinking about how great it would be to have a fantastic Cinema style screen to watch sporting events in the Hollis Clubhouse will make you want to sponsor me!
