The price of a pint of lager is now approaching £3.50 in my local pub and, as a pensioner living on a fixed income, this is preventing me from having a night out with the other old lags. £10 would cover the best part of 3 pints or 2 and a half pints and a bag of crisps. If anybody out there could find it in their hearts to help out an old soak I would be eternally grateful.
