Story
We are a voluntary organisation who offer athletics training & competition for disabled athletes in Kirkby, Knowsley. Our club is for everyone, for athletes who just want to keep fit to athletes who want to compete at the Paralympics. We have developed athletes who have competed in the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) European & World Championships as well as Rio 2016.
We are currently working towards the IPC World Championships in London in July 2017. Our athletes train 3 days per week at the club. This includes training on the track in Kirkby and the road in Sefton Park in Liverpool. Our athletes are from all over the Northwest. 3 are local from Knowsley, Warrington & Liverpool. Others travel from Preston, Leeds, Northwich and Chester.
We are looking for help with general running costs including hire of the track and costs towards equipment.
