I've raised £350 to To help replace an old fence. Need a higher one as new neighbours have moved in next door. A young family placed in a 55+ home.

Well my wife and i are getting on in years so 15 years ago we needed to find a social housing bungalow that would fit our need as we are both disabled, my wife has sight problems, mental health issues while I have mobility and care issues, also have been diagnosed with a type of alzheimer's. We needed a home that is build round our complex needs, wheel chair friendly, wet room, piece and quite, easy to maintain and with a support network. We moved in to our lovely home 15 years ago with Yorkshire Housing as our landlord. The community was a mix of family homes and a row of four bungalows of which ours are in the middle. All our neighbours were retired and even though the front of our homes could be slightly noise our back gardens were very quiet, we all respected each others privacy and need to be able to rest and just listen to the birds and relax in our back gardens. Sadly one of our direct neighbours died but instead of another retired persons moving next door Yorkshire Housing placed a young family in. Even though they are very nice and aware of our health problems they are loud and we have been told that they can have "family" noise and YH cannot guaranty peace and quite even though the four bungalows have done since they were built 54 years ago.We now don't spend much time in our garden because of noise and as we have a small fence, the original from when the bungalows were built, we are now over looked. We have tried to put a green house to try and obscure the view and get a little privacy we need a bigger fence. The costs are three fences and posts plus some one to erect them as we are unable to do this our selves sadly. The view is from our bedroom window of which we nearly allways have the blind down.
