Many thanks to all the fabulous people that have given to Steve's bucket list appeal that Dan, Chloe and I set up. It has now finished and altogether we have raised £1900. We are going to put this towards a cruise to Norway so that Steve can see the Northern Lights, this week we looked into booking this, but unfortunately all the adapted cabins on cruises for 2017 and early 2018 have already been booked up, so we have now got to wait for the 2018/2019 brochures to come out.Once again, thank you very much for your help and we will update you

While the fundraising has been going on, I've been at task trying to tick the Leicester City Disabled Season Ticket off the list. After contacting the Foxes Foundation I fell to a dead end and also found out that all Disabled Season Tickets had sold out. Meanwhile, Dan got a text from the old friend who informed us that his Dad, also an old family friend, is the DSA treasurer at LCFC and could pay for a Disabled Membership for Dad to get access to tickets. Back from a break at Disneyland Paris and Steve and I had a wonderful time, the holiday has given Steve the boost he needed and is going around with a smile. We are now researching options available for the Northern lights, hopefully with a view to book. Thank you for your continued support, Jane x

This week Steve has been poorly and spent mostly in bed but, I went into town and got him some brochures on the northern lights to look through. We have almost got to £2,000 and that will be enough to take him on a cruse to see the northern lights for next years spectacular. I'm taking him on a long overdue holiday to Disneyland Paris next week, that we booked and paid for at the start of the year, I'm hoping that will give him the boost he needs.
