Story

My 7 year old daughter is a member of Northgate Swimming Club, a small, registered Charity, number 1149690 - www.northgateswimming.co.uk

This family orientated club is in need of new equipment to help to teach young children and people how to swim, develop swimming skills and technique with a view to competing.

All of the coaches and support staff are volunteers and give a lot of their spare time, every day of the every week, to develop swimming skills across all age groups and abilities from none swimmers ( young children ) progressing through Dolphins, Sharks, Junior Development, Junior Performance, Seniors and Masters groups by ' Coaching to Potential '.

To support the club, coaches and other club volunteers there is a 24 hour relay sponsored swim taking place and my 7 year old is taking part ( 30 minutes swimming ) to help raise funds and this is part of our efforts to help them. Charlotte is aiming to swim a minimum 20 lengths ( 25 metres ) in the allotted time.

To make collecting sponsorship and donations easier for Charlotte & me, we have created this funding page.

The club would like to raise £4,000 that they urgently need to buy new equipment to carry on with this valuable coaching and continue to provide affordable swimming development opportunities for the local community and we want to help them achieve this.

Can you help ? Who knows, perhaps your support will help to find a new Rebecca Adlington or Adam Peaty?

Any amount is appreciated.

Thank you so much for your support.
