About This Fundraiser

In October, Steve and Teresa Pritchard-Jones will undertake a hike of approximately 132 miles along the Camino de Santiago. Their journey will begin in Portugal and continue into Spain over the course of ten days.

This challenge is being undertaken to raise funds in support of three exceptional causes, each of which provides vital support within the local community.

Love from, George (Telford) supports families who have experienced the devastating loss of a baby. Through the provision of wellbeing boxes in hospitals, alongside ongoing support networks, the charity offers comfort, care, and compassion during the most difficult of times.

Shine On with Harvey Owen (Shrewsbury) was established in memory of Harvey, who was tragically lost at the age of 17. The charity is dedicated to helping young people explore and develop their creative potential through the arts, offering opportunities that are both empowering and transformative.

Shropshire Round Table Lodge No. 9104, in support of the Shropshire Masonic 2030 Festival, is working towards a significant fundraising target that will benefit the Masonic Charitable Foundation. A substantial proportion of these funds is distributed locally, supporting hospices, food banks, emergency services, and a wide range of community initiatives across Shropshire.

All funds raised will be divided equally between these three causes.

To ensure that donations have the greatest possible impact, Top Note Ceremonies (www.pjtopnote.co.uk) will cover all JustGiving platform fees, meaning that 100% of every donation will go directly to the charities.

This journey is being undertaken not only as a personal challenge, but as a meaningful way to support those in need — particularly children, families, and individuals facing significant hardship.

Any support you are able to offer, whether through a donation or by sharing this page, is sincerely appreciated.

Thank you for your generosity.
