Hello. My dad passed away in August due to a long battle against cancer. For the last week of his life he was admited to arthur rank hospice. The people that work there are for the most part volounteers. I was blow away by their genuinely moving care for my dad. They are a group of amazing unsung heroes. Giving up their time to make him comfortable and help his everyneed....it blew me away. What i plan to do is summit all 214 of the wainwright fells in the lake district over a 3 week period. Starting in november and completing in the new year. I want to raise some money for a few individuals as a treat for them in the new year. Its nit inky my dad but hundreds if people have helped and continue to help.
