16 months ago I knew I had to lose weight, although I'd never boxed before I decided to give it a go and train with friends who were already doing boxing sessions. After 2 months of loving my new found hobby I took part in my first white collar event in aid for help for heroes. I lost 5 stone in the 2 months and even won the fight!!

I have now decided to take part in my second white collar event at envy in Liverpool on December 2nd and will be raising money for a Liverpool organisation close to my heart. An Hour For Others help some of the least fortunate people in Liverpool, this christmas they are planning to help many families with hampers, room refurbishments, presents, hotel breaks etc the families suffer for many reasons including bereavments of partners or children, elderly people living alone, children living in severe poverty or poor conditions, youngsters caring for sick parents etc.

This means so much to me as the money will be staying in our City and helping people who are suffering on our doorstep

I would love to raise £200, anything extra is a massive bonus and the more that is raised the more that An Hour For Others can do for those worse off than ourselves this Christmas.
