💙 Supporting Autism Dogs — A Cause Close to My Heart

My name is Steve Brotherhood, and I’m a professional golf caddy on the DP World Tour.

For the past five years, I’ve been raising money for an incredible charity called Autism Dogs — a charity that completely changed my family’s life.

Around seven or eight years ago, my son Henry was diagnosed with autism. Like many families, we faced uncertainty, challenges, and moments where everyday life felt overwhelming. Then we were introduced to the Autism Dogs programme.

Six years ago, Henry was partnered with his assistance dog, Ralph — and honestly, it transformed his life.

Ralph isn’t just a dog. He’s Henry’s best friend, his support system, his confidence, and his calm in situations that once felt impossible. The difference Autism Dogs has made to Henry, and to our entire family, is something we will forever be grateful for.

⛳ Why I’m Fundraising

When Henry was going through the programme, we were incredibly fortunate to receive amazing support from the golfing community. That generosity helped us through a life-changing journey.

Now, I want to give something back.

Every two years, I organise a Charity Golf Day & Auction, bringing together friends, players, and supporters from the golf world to raise funds for Autism Dogs.

This year’s event takes place on:

My goal is to raise £15,000 — enough to help support another child and their family through the Autism Dogs programme.
