Child protection is something that should be taken very seriously whatever the level that is taking place. There were over 58,000 children identified as needing protection from abuse in the UK. I have seen the damage this can cause to people mentally and physically. This is something close to my heart and I believe more can be done to safeguard the welfare of children who are potentially at risk. I also feel a lot more education should be given to children to understand and have the confidence to speak up without feeling scared.
