I have several disabilities, & actively compete in the sport of cycling. I came into cycling initially as a hobby because i was suffering from depression as a result of my brain injuries. I found that cycling helped me to deal with my depression. Over the past 8 years i have competed in cycling at local, nationak and international levels. I have been mainly competing against ablebodied cyclists but more recently have been categorised as a C5 athlete. This year i have participated in the world cup in Bilbao, Spain and have also been competing in the Republic of Ireland. I have won 5 gold medals in the Invacare Paracycling Series and also earned a silver in my first ever Irish Championships in Dublin.

Over the next few months i am planning to complete a number of sponsored challenges to help me fundraise towards updating my Time Trial bike, to help me to further my achievements in cycling and gain further recognition for the sport of paracycling.
