Story
We are raising money for Steven, Oliver (2) and Noah (7 months) following the death of Steve’s partner and the children’s Mummy, Kerri-Ann Assirati.
Kerri was a bubbly and fun loving person who was the life and soul of every party. She was there for everyone and always out helping and supporting family and friends. She was always worried about other people and put other people’s needs before her own.
Over the last year Kerri had been suffering mental health issues which became worse 7 months ago when she was diagnosed with severe post natal depression following the birth of Noah. In September 2019 she was admitted to a psychiatric hospital in Stafford for in-patient treatment. Following her admission to hospital Kerri’s condition steadily declined and on Boxing Day, whilst at home with her family, was involved in a road traffic collision on the A467 in Brynmawr and was tragically killed.
We are raising money for funeral expenses and for Steven and the boys to support them in their future.
The family’s thoughts are also with the drivers involved in the accident.

4 years agoAs many of you will know, there was a balloon release last weekend for Kerri and Steve received £150 on the day which was collected by Helen Hawking. He has also received a further £85 from Lisa and Janet Smart of Smart’s Deli following a raffle. Thanks to everyone for your ongoing collections, raffles and contributions for the family. It really means so much xx

4 years agoI’ve heard this morning that with the money that has been taken to the Assirati’s and the Wakeley’s, we have now raised over £10k. I don’t think in our wildest dreams we would have imagined that we could raise that amount, especially in such a short space of time. I just wanted to personally say thank you to everyone that has contributed. I know that the money will be a huge help to Steve and the boys, and if it makes the coming months that little bit easier, that is the main thing. Thank you! Laura x
