I'm raising £2000 to help students go to the fringe!

Story

Last year through Just Giving (and lovely people donating after my tour shows) the first Student Comedy Fund raised enough money to help The University Of York Comedy Society go to the Fringe 2026! They'd also just decided it was no longer financial viable for them to go, so this was an incredible win for the arts. And joy. And love. And york.

In case you're not aware, student comedians are being priced out of the Edinburgh Fringe festival - and if that continues to happen, we're going to be getting comedy from literally two universities (I won't say, but you know which ones).

Obviously I want to help another group get to the Fringe 2027 because I am insatiable.

If you love comedy and have some spare cash, then putting it into grassroots groups is one of the best ways to support the continuation of the industry. If you don't, then share it on social media or something - maybe some poshos follow you!
