Story

I’m writing this story for my friend who is quite frankly the nicest of ladies who has been dealt to much bad luck...

Mel and Pete have been together for 21 years and after years of trying for a baby they knew something wasn’t right, this wasn’t going to happen without some sort of medical help?

After more complications with Mel, they were granted by the NHS two attempts at IVF.

You can imagine how full their hearts were, they were on the road to becoming parents at last!

Sadly, the first attempt failed.

The second attempt worked! Mel was pregnant!! Her pregnancy was good. She couldn’t have done anything more to keep her little miracle any healthier...

Mel’s due day come 23rd January 2016 and she went into labour on the exact date her princess was due to enter the world...

Unfortunately, Mel’s labour didn’t go straight forward, and she was rushed for a c-section where Lilee-Mae’s dad was waiting outside of the room to hear his baby girl cry. Although she didn’t.

Lilee-Mae was too precious for this earth and she was still born or as we like to say born an angel.

Why? Why has this happened to 2 people that have dreamt of this for so long, the 2 nicest people you could ever meet. :(

After all this time Mel and Pete now feel ready to try and make their beautiful angel daughter a big sister.

They unfortunately don’t have any more NHS IVF attempts left so will have to pay for it this time round.

They have been quoted around the 12k mark as Mel is a high-risk case due to having endometriosis and medical conditions that require more help to give her the chance to become a mummy for the second time.

If anyone can donate any kind of donation big or small it would be truly appreciated,

I want my friend back, the Mel I use to know not the one hiding behind a broken smile.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story

Stevie x
