£1,470raised of £1,500 target by 45 supporters

Weʼve raised £1,470 to To help fund Explorer Belt Expedition (an overseas expedition - during which time they undertake 10 days of voluntary charity work.

    Buckley, UK
Funded on Friday, 19th October 2018

    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

Every year I undertake a challenge to raise money for different charity ventures.

This year I have decided to attempt to walk the route of Hadrian's Wall, which is 86 miles long, over two days: 27th and 28th July 2018.

The cause I am supporting this year is to help fund a group of older Explorer Scouts taking part in the 'Explorer Belt' award; Where they will travel to a foreign country, promoting self-reliance for the participants, and undertaking 10 days of voluntary charity work.

We want to thank you all for your generous donations. Our total is well over half way but would seriously love more. Please, re-share our story, any donations however small will be so gratefully received. The legs have fully recovered but still find myself getting tired in the afternoons - must be old age lol. We will try our best to thank everyone individually, although there are names on here I do not know. huge thanks once again Stewart and Chrissy

Legs are hurting a little after a full on training weekend. Everything is coming along nicely just got to hope the weather doesn't ruin our plans. Saturday's walk was interrupted by a couple of good friends from District Explorer Scouts who have put together a short video presentation. I will put my lack of IT skills to the test and see if I can upload here for you all to watch. Many thanks to those that have donated already. Please, please share our page and help us reach our target.
