We are a primary school with 700 children. Like all schools we are faced with improving standards in English and maths, but few government organisations are interested in what we do with the Arts.
We were one of the first schools in Britain to gain Arts Mark Platinum, and we want to do more for our children with music, but we need a dedicated space to make that happen.

Our current music room is a condemned Elliot hut. We keep it running through investment in electrical repairs, but the dilapidated structure is uninspiring and will not encourage children to become involved in music.
