I am jumping out of a plane from 15,000ft to raise money for St Georges Pre School.

This pre school is special to me as it has seen my 2 eldest children develop into happy confident boys now ready for school. I have been looking forward to my 2 youngest attending the pre school, however not once considering this might not be possible due to closure. As a parent it is vital that you find someone you can trust to care for your children and the staff there have exceeded our expectations from day one.

The pre school is a delightful rural nurturing place for young children offering those precious yet vital moments which aid youngsters to thrive and prepare them for school. Recently it has been under threat of closure and I, along with other parents, are desperate to prevent this from happening.

The pre school relies on charitable donations to survive, however, as all things, services come at a price and due to government cuts and lack of support they were facing closure. Thankfully, due to community support they are currently secure for the near future.

Our children are so lucky to have such an amazing pre school on their doorstep which provides them with many exciting opportunities for them to experience; their own allotment, close contact with local farmers and beehive keepers, weekly yoga sessions, not forgetting the pre school forms a vital part of the community being closely involved with the local church and local businesses.
