St. Helen's Church Welton is crowdfunding

raised of £5,000 target by 28 supporters

Weʼre raising £5,000 to pay for major repairs needed to the stonework on the south side of the church.

What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

In view of the current situation with the coronavirus, the Welton and Melton Gardens Festival 2020 has been cancelled for the first time in over twenty-five years. It has been a very difficult decision as this is a major source of fundraising for St Helen's Church, contributing around £5,000 each year towards the upkeep and repair of our lovely church.

This year, we have decided to collate a series of photographs from many of the gardens here in our beautiful village of Welton for you to enjoy and share with your friends and family. These are now available to view on the St. Helen's web site.

Revd. Elaine says:

If you would like to be entered into the virtual duck race, please ensure you email Emma ( with your Just Giving donation reference. All donations made before 26th June 2020 will qualify!
