I've raised £400 to help fund more reading books for St Luke's Park Primary

To help support and develop our children's love of reading and books. We have set the children a challenge to read or be read to as many books as possible in one week. Starting Thursday 2nd March through to Thursday 9th March.
We are keen to encourage a group effort with each class working as a team collecting stars for Squirrels or Little Owls. Stars will be awarded for each picture book, school reading book or chapter of a book etc (read or listened to). Please record ALL books in your child's school reading record book to be awarded stars.
Prizes will not be given for most money raised, which is why we have set up a whole school collection. Prizes will be given for most stars collected by Thursday 9th March. Please do ask friends and family to contribute as all money raised will be spent on books or activities based on reading. Donations will close a week after the sponsored read to enable people to donate based on how many books were read by that child.
If you and your child reads just one book a day everyday, they will have enjoyed 2,555 books by their 7th birthday. In the words of Dr Seuss, "The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go."
So... how many books can you read in just one week?
