This year, the children of St Mary’s are raising funds for our partner school in Malawi, Africa. Kapeska Primary are in desperate need of an additional school building as many children in their local community are either in a temporary shelter or walking up to 6km to reach the next community school. Raising £5000 will mean, together, we can fund a new classroom building and provide over 200 children with the opportunity of an education. Last summer, Mrs Butler, a teacher at St Mary’s school, volunteered in Africa with educational charity Hooke Court in Malawi and will be returning this summer to begin this exciting building project. With your help, our children will be able to support our global community and watch as this project comes to life.
