Story
The Church Council of St Mary the Virgin, Little Hallingbury, is undertaking a substantial refurbishment of the church vestry and kitchen. The vestry was extended 25 years ago and the fittings all date from that time. The kitchen is no longer serviceable, and we badly need better vestry storage for vestments and records. We are also making our lavatory more accessible for those with additional needs. We do not receive any central funding from the State or the Church, so we rely on the generosity of those in the community who want to see the local church thrive! Thank you for your donation to help us.

5 years agoSuccessful Cream Teas! With huge thanks to Monica Swann and the events team at St Mary's, we yesterday had a delightful afternoon of cream teas served in Church, with entertainments and a raffle. Thank you too to all those families who came to support us, and to eat their fill of finger sandwiches and delicious home-made cakes - all washed down with (quite literally) gallons of tea.
