Our school playground is in desperate need of resurfacing to ensure the safety and enjoyment of our children. The surface has become very uneven and children are often falling over, causing injury. Not only this, but it makes it challenging to teach ball skills in extra-curricular clubs or lessons, with balls often being sent in the wrong direction after hitting a dip.

As a small school money is exceptionally tight and we are pulling on all our resources. So far, the money we are contributing to this project as a school is as follows:

£10000 from our Sports' Premium Funding
£500 from the PTA
£600 from our Capital Funding
£500 from the Governors Fund

This gives us a total of £11,600 but still leaves us at least £2000 short to complete the project to its bare minimum requirements.

£11,600 - allows us to level and resurface the playground, with netball markings

£13,600 - allows us to add in various other markings to the playground, to include hopscotch, snakes and ladders, compass, number circles etc

£ 17,000 - allows us to add in in goal muga for football, netball, basketball and hockey lessons

We want to be able to provide our children with the best possible opportunities to enjoy play but also to be able to develop their sporting skills across the curriculum.

Every penny really does count for us. All we ask if that you give what you can and share far and wide with your friends and family. Even if everyone was able to donate £1, I am sure we would see our target reached very quickly.
