We are a team of teachers, teaching assistants, parents and friends of St Michael's Primary school in Bracknell. On the 7th of May 2017, we will be running the Bracknell Half Marathon to raise funds to make improvements to the school and helping to contribute towards the already well established PTA at St Michael's.

Training for the half marathon is well underway (you may have spotted us running around Bracknell on Monday nights) and we are really looking forward to raising a great deal for the school. Running has brought us together as a team, and we hope that we can expand that team and are asking for your donations as a support.

We will be posting regular updates on our school twitter page (@stmicheast) so that you can keep up to date with how our training is progressing in the run up to the half marathon as well as doing things in school in order to raise some money too, such as cake sales and a sponsored mile so keep your eyes peeled for details about that.

Fundraising it easy and there are lots of ways we will be collecting money. You can donate through this website and the funds will straight into school, or you can donate via the school office. Members of the running team will also be using sponsorship forms to drum up some more sponsors.
We will also be donating 10% of the sponsorship that we get to the Bracknell Half Marathon official charity.

We are also looking for people to join our team, so if you think either yourself or someone you know would be interested in setting themselves a goal for 2017 and raising a bit of money for a fantastic school point them in our direction!
