My partner, Lena, was born in Ukraine and has lived in St Neots for 14 years. Her parents and extended family still live around an area called Cherkasy in central Ukraine. Like everyone, we have been horrified by the recent events, loss of life and humanitarian crisis that is unfolding. In Lena’s home, like so many towns and cities, civilians have been given guns to repel the Russian army, but they have not been given other basics such as socks, boots, combat gear, tactical vests, helmets etc

The refugees, the homeless, the civilian and voluntary army have been cut off from being able to buy basic items that they need in their fight. We aim to help deliver some of these items to them and hope to count on your support.
