Stone Rings Open Gardens usually raises money for local charities through opening some of the gardens in the Close. This would have been our ninth time for some of the gardens.

Through the entrance cost of £5, refreshments, plants and other stalls, we intended to support:

Caring for Life;

a Christian charity which seeks to rescue, rebuild and restore those who "have fallen through the net" by offering support in various ways. www.caringforlife.co.uk

Carers' Resource;

which exists to support unpaid carers within Yorkshire. It has expanded to help people after they return from hospital and provide assistance in people's own homes. www.carersresource.org

Dementia Connection;

a dementia family self-support group which aims to enable group members to share experiences and listen to invited experts who offer practical help and support.

We intend as always to split the donations equally between the three charities. Please support these small local charities through this page as you enjoy our gardens virtually.
