Stony Stratford Business Association has been working since 1981 to promote prosperity and wellbeing in the town.

We fund a wide range of activities including flags and bunting during the summer, hanging baskets and leaflets to promote the town and encourage tourism, and we provide financial support for Stony in Bloom, Stony Open Gardens, Stony Live! and the Vintage and Classic Car events.

However, probably our crowning glory – and certainly our largest financial outlay – is the Christmas Lights display, which brings hundreds of people into the town, not only on Switch-On Day but throughout the Christmas period. Last year we completed the transition to LED lighting throughout the display, making it more environmentally friendly as well as even more spectacular. Inevitably, this important upgrade has also had significant financial consequences: for instance, a single high-level light string across the High Street complete with new LED light bulbs costs over £350.

The Business Association is therefore seeking your support in order to be able to continue with the Christmas Lights, and the other initiatives we organise or support financially.
