STOP THE SHOW - A new online musical!

The project we are raising funds for is called ‘Stop the Show’ with music written by Daniel Curtis and Laura Coyne and a book written by 2020 graduate, Gregory George. It is being produced by Gregory George, Daniel Curtis and Hundred Acre Productions. We are going to film the whole production from a theatre in London and then stream it online for people to watch.

The project came about when Gregory George contacted composer Daniel Curtis, an established Musical Theatre composer who has worked with some of the biggest names from the West End and Broadway. He contacted him to ask if he had ever thought about turning his musical theatre album, ‘Overture’, featuring the likes of Natalie Weiss, Rebecca Luker, Emma Hatton and James Monroe Iglehart, to name a few, into a full musical. He quickly jumped at the chance and within days we got the whole production on its feet, a London theatre secured and an audition process well under way.

Our reason for creating a JustGiving page for the project is that we have some funding in place for the production that will cover some of the production costs but we really want to make this production the best it can be.
