Story
Stop350 is an organisation set up by Mersea Residents to oppose the thoughtless plans to build 350+ houses on the island. We want to get planning permission denied for 200+ houses on Brierley Paddock and 100+ on Dawes Lane.
This is not rejecting any development, we welcome homes that the community want/needs and that are in proportion to what the island can cope with in terms of schooling, medical, policing, sewerage and roads.
That is NOT what is on offer in these schemes and the island future is at stake by over-development.
We NEED funds for Barristers and specialists to take on the developers. It will happen unless we can defend the Island against indiscriminate development.
