raised of £2,500 target by 53 supporters

Weʼve raised £1,594 to avoid Enfield LTNs being made permanent (due Autumn 2021) by engaging ALL local residents, workers & students. Please HELP US to Help YOU :)

    Winchmore Hill, N21
Funded on Sunday, 1st August 2021

Don't have time to donate right now?

Our work is all done by volunteers and we have so far:

•Challenged the council daily with hard evidence covering topics far more deep rooted than just the LTN schemes

•Tackled the myths, misinformation and unrelated/non-locally relevant information from radical groups who have imposed their own agenda upon us all

•Grown and supported a dedicated Anti LTN group from 0 to 2100+ in just over 8 months surpassing “Better Streets” in a very short time, proving we are not a minority any longer and our voices/concerns will not evaporate!

•Acquired the information needed to uphold the negligence, infringements of policies/ funding terms and the lawlessness of the schemes - Equality Act, Public Sector Equality Duty, Road Traffic Regulation Act etc – to name a few – which continues to be gathered all day, everyday

3120+ signature ePetition on LBE website

•Worked on and shared the information evidence we’ve acquired along with funding of £900 towards a legal letter from the Fox Lane campaign to Enfield Council

•Have multiple cases filed with various agencies, bodies and commissioners

•Set up the PCN patrols – in only just 6 hours with 4 volunteers, have already saved £2925

•Created the Get Involved page – helping all in the community to take action

•Launched the Community map where the council failed to transparently show the local response to the Fox Lane scheme and attempted to create the same for Bowes.

•Secured visits to the area from Shaun bailey (by request in April which resulted in a Bowes meeting) along with Farah London who visited us all twice at both LTN locations with strong interest into the detriments of the schemes

Objection Surgeries – dedicated time to assist those who wanted to formally object, but didn’t know how to, for an entire week in the lead up to the deadline in May 2021.

•Encourage mass completions of Let’s Talk surveys reaching more than the Council intended to reach (as there were no paid activities for them to do so) we spent on reaching the wider community – including and involving many more who were not even aware of the survey.

•Hosted the Gathering on Southgate Green, 24th July which was a huge success with support from all around us (watch here: )

•And lots more still to come – but powder must be kept dry!

    Join our 2100+ member group:

PROTEST is now live: for AUG 30th - if you arent there - you arent against LTN road closures- it really is that important that you ALL join us! If campaigners in wheelchairs, the elderly and sick were able to turn up to the Gathering on the Green in the rain, there is no reason you cant take action and be heard too!

Take action, sign the petition and please keep sharing this link on Facebook, Twitter, Nextdoor and whatsapp groups:

We successfully achieved our target in January with special thanks to our dedicated community - so after we used what we needed, we then donated the remaining £900 to One Community for the legal letter issued by FTB Chambers to our local authority (FTB chambers represented UTAG & LTDA v Mayor of London and TfL [2021] “High Court Quashes the Mayor of London's Streetspace Plan and TfL’s Bishopsgate Traffic Management Order”).

We now want to raise some further funds to support various activities prior to Autumn 2021 when a decision on the LTNs will be made.

Join us in the mission to OPEN OUR ROADS - bringing democracy and equality back - to our now severely divided community.

This fundraiser is solely for Advertising and Digital Marketing to reach and educate those who live, work study and do business here in our wide Enfield borough.

Dear All, Thank you for your kindness you have shown. One Community committee have supported 5 individuals who sought to divide the community & go against us & all our hard work for the edlerly, sick and disabled. If you have donated since 24th July we are emailing to request a refund for you as that has not yet been used (despite us still being out of personal pocket for this campaign). Protest is cancelled and we can still be contacted on as we wind down over week or so.

Wouldn't we all love our roads closed, but despite my tiny road being rather busy, I could never live with forcing more traffic on to my neighbour. Anyone supporting Rd closures should be ashamed!

STOP was formed in October '20 due to separate local group campaigns for Fox Lane and Bowes LTNs, we knew a united campaign was needed to engage all aggrieved by either scheme, both schemes & future schemes yet to be implemented. Our work is done by volunteers, please support us
