Formula 1 in Schools is an international competition for 11-19 year olds. Teams of 3-6 race model 'Formula 1 cars of the future' which they have designed, tested and manufactured themselves. The project is recognised globally as the most prestigious STEM competition in the world, with over 44 countries taking part and 20 million students involved.

Storm Racing is an all-girls F1inSchools team based at Sandbach High School and Sixth Form College. After being crowned North West Regional Champions last year we were invited to attend the UK National Finals where we came 8th/32 teams, we were also awarded the Women in Motorsport award for being the best all-girls team in the UK. Due to our success last year, this year we are determined to go even further and hopefully compete at the World Finals in October 2017.

All money raised will go towards funding for team uniform, materials for the car, pit display, bearings, travel and accommodation costs, and many other things.
