Storm Racing began as an idea of three year 12 students from Kimbolton School: Jordan Payne; Andrew Lawrence; Alex Johnson. Together the team have designed and manufactured a model racing car, which they are using to compete in the internationally renowned F1 In Schools Competition.

So far, thanks to the hard work and effort contributed by all three team members, Storm was selected at their Regional Finals to represent East Anglia at the National Finals held at Silverstone on March 19th.

As well as being the only team selected to represent their region at the National Finals, Storm is very proud to have been awarded: The Best Engineered Car Award and the Most In-Depth Research & Development Award.

The three school colleagues are looking to claim the Development Class win at the National Finals, as they hope to have the opportunity to represent their country at the F1 In Schools World Finals, held in Singapore later this year!
