Story
In Luwatala most facilities - like toilets and water pumps - are communal. We are working with the community to provide soap for hand washing - along with buckets with taps for running water - to prevent any spread of corona virus. This is fairly expensive for a subsistence farmers so a little money from here goes a long way towards protecting the community in Malawi.
Your gift will help so much in Luwatala! Providing soap is such a simple thing to do yet provides some protection for the Parish Partnership villages in Malawi. I hope we can keep contributing towards continuing this resource as long as Covid-19 is in the region..
Young tailors have been learning to make masks to distribute to the community. Some of the money collected will go to support their work. They have currently produced over 400 masks.
Thank you for all your support - Luwatala are so encouraged to learn that there is somewhere in the world that cares what happens to them. They hold us in their prayers and some of their choirs are sending such beautiful songs of love and praise to share with us.
