Story
As a Catholic school community, St Patrick's Catholic College always look forward to supporting our local and global community through our Lenten alms giving each year. This year our focus is on raising money for the well-being and welfare of the frontline staff working at our wonderful James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough and University Hospital of North Tees in Stockton.
Our aim was to originally raise £1160 (that is £1 per mile) in our 40/40 challenge. These numbers represent 40 miles that staff and students are required to cycle each day linked to the 40 days of Lent. However, since there are still three weeks left of our challenge we've decided to try raise a little more if we can.
This pandemic has taken its toll on all of us in many ways, it has required us all to be resilient and look out for each other. No more is this reflected than in the great work of our NHS and we would greatly appreciate it if you could support them by donating to our 40/40 challenge this Lent through this page. Many, many thanks in advance.
