    Story

The Shad Thames Residents’ Association has served the Shad Thames community for the past 20 years. During that time, we have funded many community initiatives and local organisations on your behalf, using monies we receive each year for the filming that takes place in our area.

In the face of the current crisis, we chose to donate almost all of the funds we had at our disposal to worthy local organisations that needed our help to continue their good works. These include the Manna Society, Southwark Foodbank, Compass School Southwark - Hardship Fund, Southwark News and SE1, our local news website.

Now our funds are running short. For the first time in our history, we are reaching out to the Shad Thames community to ask for your help so that as a community we might continue to support key local organisations which serve the most vulnerable amongst us. Our hope is to be able to make small and quick donations, as they are required.
