As many of you are aware there is a big problem in Mauritius with stray dogs. The logical solution to resolve this is to sterilise the strays before releasing them. A group of volunteers called Well-being for Strays feeds and sterilises stray dogs. Having witnessed first hand how many dogs are roaming the country, and seeing footage of how they are captured and killed, I feel sterilisation is a safe and humane way to resolve the issue. I travel to Mauritius regularly and will make sure all donations go directly to the vet who carries out the operations. Each sterilisation costs 800 rupees which is approximately £18. Even a small amount will help to change the lives of the dogs. Thank you.
