What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

Thousands of children in the La Township struggle to properly access education as many are born to very poor families. Currently ‘The Street To School Soccer Programme’ is supporting over 140 Children in La Township, Accra (Ghana) by offering a homework club and football programme to engage young people in the local school system.

Despite this support, many of the children still cannot afford basic materials needed for school or football. With the combined help of those of us that are more fortunate, we could get the basics needed to allow these children not only to continue their right to education, but also to continue enjoying their childhood by playing a sport that they love!

We all know the power sport can have on our development and the opportunities continued education can give young people, especially those living in poverty.

The impact of 'Street To School' is already having an untold impact in the La Community and the lives of these children.

A donation to continue supporting the ‘Street To School’ children today will help these children on the road to secure a better future for themselves tomorrow.

As all ‘Street To School’ (S2S) coaches, teachers, and support staff work on a 100% voluntary basis, ALL of your donation will go directly towards clothes, kits, books, and school fees for the most needy children in ‘The Street To School Programme’, and it will also allow ‘S2S’ to support a few more of the many thousands of children in the La Township area still going without.
