Story

After suffering a stroke at 34 which changed things for me and made my whole life focus on rehab and working hard to recover I have discovered how little support there is for younger and working age stroke survivors. And the support there is is incredibly hard to access or fund. It seems expected to do it all privately when chances are you won't be able to work.
Systems in place are just not working for younger survivors and it's very hard to get the access to long term support and rehab.
The help.available seems to come from Charities and causes that are largely self funded and I want to give something back to 3 charities who have had a huge positive impact on my life.
I'm working hard to try and change this and raise awareness but in a positive and fun way. So what better way to.do a fundraiser than to have a party! And I love music and festivals and have missed out a bit on this so decided to organise a mini festival. And if all goes well this may be a more regular annual event!

Unfortunately to pull off an event like this deposits need to be made so I am trying to raise money to help with these deposits from donations and also looking for sponsors which will then allow the tickets to be sold and then money raised will go to support younger and working age stroke survivors.

I would be grateful for any support in this venture.

Below is a link to my story which gives more background on why I am doing this fundraiser.

Even a small donation would make a big difference to the fundraiser.
