I've raised £3000 to save St Stephen Pantomime Company’s 75th anniversary production and rebuild our funds to keep our pantomime going for the years to come

My name is Graham Ford and I am the Chairman of St Stephen Pantomime Company. We are an amateur pantomime group who have been performing in the village of St Stephen in Cornwall since 1945.
In 2020 we are due to be celebrating our 75th anniversary: an amazing achievement for us and our village. We have worked incredibly hard in order to build our pantomime into what it is - renowned for the quality of our shows which are enjoyed by hundreds of people each year.
Devastatingly, we have recently discovered we have been the victims of a shocking and selfish large theft by a former committee member of our group which has left us in a deep financial predicament regarding the future of our pantomime. This matter is being investigated by the Police and we are working with them to ensure that the perpetrator is brought to justice.
All of us at St Stephen Pantomime Company remain committed to putting on our 75th anniversary production of Sleeping Beauty and ensuring that this is cause for celebration for our group and our community. However this is a significant challenge for us, as we have been left in a position where we do not have the funds available to meet the cost of putting on our pantomime.
We have been overwhelmed by support for our JustGiving page so far. This is only one of the ways we have planned to raise money over the next few months as we work towards rebuilding the thousands of pounds that have been so selfishly taken from us, and that we need to safeguard the future of our pantomime, towards our total fundraising goal of £8000.
Whatever you can give would be so hugely appreciated by all the members of our company, who have worked so hard for the last 74 years to keep this tradition alive in our village.
Thank you for reading and for your support.
