Story

We at St Stephens Gate Medical Practice and Newmarket Road Surgery are wanting to help tackle period poverty by offering free sanitary products in a project called Red Dot.
At our last meeting we discussed the effects this can have on girls and women who either struggle to afford or indeed cannot afford to purchase sanitary items.
We know that many young girls are missing out on school due to the inability to purchase such basic items, and that homeless women and women on low incomes cannot afford menstrual supplies.
As you will appreciate it will take some time to build up a sufficient stock of items, therefore we have created this page in order to be able to start our Red Dot project much sooner.
Any donation will be much appreciated.
